‘Little Women’ tag
Orchard House
This was the Alcott family home from 1858 to 1877. This is also the site where Louisa May Alcott wrote and set “Little Women,” in 1868. When I was a little girl my grandmother told me “every young woman should read ‘Little Women’” — it is and always will be one of my favorites. I’m so glad I got to take her here for a visit last fall. It was a special day for both of us.
